We are a Dutch family of nearly five, driven by a desire for change and a better environment for our children. After spending years in the hustle and bustle of city life, we yearned for a space that fostered quality time together, offered room to run and explore, and provided the opportunity to grow our own healthy food.

After nearly a year of searching for our special sanctuary, we discovered an old, abandoned orange farm nestled in the charming village of Carcaxient, Valencia.

From the moment we set foot on this hidden gem, we felt an instant connection. The lush surroundings, abundant fresh oranges, and the remnants of its faded glory spoke to our hearts. This farmhouse, which had stood silent for nearly 40 years, revealed its potential to us. We understood the challenge ahead: restoring the house to its former splendor while transforming the entire property into a 100% ecological farm.

 

With this vision in mind, we have embarked on a three-year journey toward certification as an ecological farm. Step by step, we are cleaning up the land and revitalizing the historic home, built in the 1930s, to create a space that blends sustainability with the warmth of family life.
