Our Revitalizing program means you help as a volonteer revitalizing an 40 year long abandonaded traditional orange farm to a sustainable orange farm which promotes inclusion and sustainability. The cost will be used to pay for most of your expenses such as accomodation and the organisation. Highlights * Participating in a beautifull project revitalizing this authentic orange farm into sustainable and ecologic farm where you make memories for life. * Experience the Spanisch rural way of life in the beautifull Valencian nature * Discover the local Valencian culture and gastronomy * Learn about Spanish history & 1000 year old farming sustainable techniques which are still used today at our farm * Discover the beautifull other cities in Europe on the weekends like Xativa, Denia, Javea, Alicante or Madrid What to expect Responsibilities vary depending on the specific needs of the land. Tasks can involve planting, harvesting and cultivating flowers, vegetables and herbs, weeding, watering, composting and other garden work. Responsibilities * Weeding and cleaning the land * Lawnmowing * Composting * Planting fruit, herbs, vegetables and flowers * Watering and cultivating the herbs, fruit, vegetables and flowers * Improving the garden * Raking the soil * Harvesting Included in the program * Pre-arrival support * Pick up at the local train station (extra small fee) * A digital welcome pack with information * Accomodation including bedlinnen and towels * Free workshops/excursions at the project site such as wine tasting, cooking classes with local products * Transport to the project location on work days * A bocadillo lunch at the project site during working days * Learning new things and gaining rural experiences * Discovering the Valencian nature * Contributing to a more sustainable way of living * Taking part revitalising the transition to an authentic ecological farm We are very happy with all the volunteers who help us with our work.
